GSM Association Security Accreditation Scheme (SAS) support |
We are proud to support the GSM Association’s Security Accreditation Scheme for UICC production (SAS-UP) as one of the two official audit companies. Widely regarded as one of the market's most rigorous security audit standards, SAS-UP can be applied to any UICC production environment - whether producing classical card form-factor UICC SIM cards, embedded form factor devices for industrial, automotive and IoT applications, or performing wafer-level personalisation for OEM integration - addressing the full range of security requirements. FML is the only organisation to have been involved with the GSM Association since the inception of SAS and offers the most experienced audit team in this specialism. We have been instrumental in supporting the continuous development of the scheme, the SAS-UP FS.04 Standard and the supporting documentation, including the latest versions of the SAS FS.17 Consolidated Security Requirements (CSR) and FS.18 Consolidated Security Guidelines (CSG). The certification process offers significant benefits to producers, MNOs and OEMs globally. To find out more about the certification scheme, please visit the GSM Association’s website. FML offers specialist support and guidance to help suppliers prepare for certification and audit. Our consultants have been actively involved in providing assistance to a number of sites both before and during certification to help them interpret the requirements of SAS-UP and implement controls optimised to their own business and manufacturing facility.
